Villain was in news since from the announcement and is preparing for release this month. Movie is creating records before the release and here’s another one added to the list. Hindi dubbing rates for the movie is sold for a record rate of 3 crores. It’s already created a record for Satellite rates as the leading channel Surya TV bagged the rights for a whooping price of 7 crores. Audio rights also sold for a price of 50 Lakhs, which is also the highest one for a Malayalam film.
B Unnirishnan, the man behind the movie Grandmaster is directing Villain and it’s his fourth collaboration with Mohanlal. The movie also have a strong star cast including Vishal, Manju Warrier, Raashi Khanna, Hansika Motwani and Telugu actor Srikanth. Movie is creating under a budget of 30 crores by Rockline Venkatesh under the banner of Rockline Entertainments Pvt Ltd.
Villain is the first ever Indian film to be completely filmed and to be released in 8K resolution. Manoj Paramahamsa was the cinematographer,and music was composed by Sushin Shyam. Movie will hit the theaters on this 27th October an the fans were excited see if the movie will break collection records of Pulimurugan.
