Dear Box office ready for the records, Mohanlal’s dashing Villain is coming. Censoring of the film is done with a ‘U’ certificate and ready for the release. Movie is gonna hit the theaters on 27th October as a Diwali treat to the fans.
Villain having a run time of 2 hours and 17 minutes is one of the most anticipated films this year. It’s the first Indian film to shot in 8K resolution. It’s the fourth collaboration of director B Unnikrishnan with Mohanlal. It also have a strong star cast including Manju Warrier, Vishal, Siddique, Renji Panicker, Rashi Khanna, Aju Varghese, Chemban Vinod Jose, Hansika Motwani and Srikanth.

Movie already made some records including satellite right and music rights. Surya TV has bagged the satellite rights for a record pric of Rs. 7 crores. It’s also reported that the music rights have been bought by Junglee Music for Rs. 50 lakhs and the Hindi dubbing rights have been sold for Rs. 1 crore.
Villain is touted as a neo-noir action thriller film produced by Rockline Venkatesh under the banner of Rockline Entertainments. The film has been made on a budget of Rs. 30 crores. Mohanlal playing as an ex-cop in two different looks.
